OUR PROJECTS

Cropping - Grazing - Soil - Water - Biodiversity

HMLG have a strong history of initiating and supporting major research projects on many aspects of land management. Areas of interest for our members have included soil acidity, salinity and water logging, biodiversity and remnant vegetation. We often work in collaboration with other landcare groups, research organisations such as CSIRO and other government and industry partners.

Some of our past projects have been pivotal in transforming collective understanding and acceptance of natural resource management methods and farming practices both locally in NSW, as well as across Australia.
